With a current membership of over 300, the Ladies section is very active with competition time and casual golf available throughout the week and at weekends. Competition days are Monday (5 Day members), Tuesday (Ordinary members), Thursday (Team golf events), and reserved time on Saturday. An open timesheet on Sunday facilitates Ordinary members as an alternate day for the Tuesday competition.
The Ladies section won the All Ireland Junior Cup in 2018 achieving the first national pennant for the Club and remain competitive in many Golf Ireland Inter Club matchplay competitions.
Following our very successful 'Get into Golf' programme which began in 2020, a new 'Introduction to Golf' programme commenced in Spring 2022 for Ladies who are interested in taking up golf as a sport. We look forward to welcoming the particpants who opt to join Rathfarnham Golf Club as new members following completion of this programme.
The Club was delighted to bestow Honorary Membership to Leona Maguire in December 2021 ahead of her inaugural LPGA Tour victory in February of this year.
