Welcome to the Rathfarnham Golf Club Website

Captains 2014 - Ross Sargeant and Jane Jones

Rathfarnham Golf Club is nestled in the foothills of the Dublin mountains with panoramic views over the city and surrounding countryside
.

Founded in 1899 the original course was situated in the area between Butterfield Avenue and the Dodder River in Rathfarnham where the Fairways Estate is today.

In 1966 the Club moved from Butterfield to its existing location in Newtown on Stocking Lane, a green field site, and developed a 9 holes course.

By 2002 the course had been extended to 14 holes and in 2008 an extra hole was added  bringing the Club to 15 holes.  In 2014, the Members voted to build 3 new holes bringing the Club towards its ulitmate ambition of 18 holes.  These new holes will open for play in April 2015.

Hoping our website is useful, informative and enjoyable.
