Brian O'Hara, Club Professional
Brian O'Hara has been the professional in Rathfarnham Golf Club since 1980, having previously been a professional in Clontarf Golf Club. He was trained by the famous Joe Craddock.
His priority since joining Rathfarnham Golf Club has been the development of golf, in particular in the juvenile section. It has been a great satisfaction to Brian to have witnessed so many young golfers achieve single figure handicaps. He is responsible for the running of the Ladies and Mens timesheets on Tuesday and Saturday.
One of the highlights of Brian's career was playing with the famous Peter Thomson (five times winner of the Open) and Ronald McDonald (Australian Amateur Champion). He will always remember that 20 foot putt downhill to win the match with his partner Noel Hynes!
